Get to know the writer:

What is your screenplay about?

SID – Prologue is about an artificial intelligence tasked with reintroducing human life, after the human race is eradicated by a virus.

What genres does your screenplay fall under?

Sci-Fi/Drama.

Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

From one perspective I believe there is a basic message of peace and respect within the story that, given the current political & racial, hate mongering climates, needs to be heard, understood, and learned from. From another perspective, people need to be made more aware of repercussions of their actions & in-actions.

How would you describe this script in two words?

Potentially influential.

What movie have you seen the most times in your life?

Tough question, maybe Die Hard, 1988, or possibly Apocalypse Now, 1979, but the answer could be any one of a plethora of other movies. Maybe American Beauty, 1999.

How long have you been working on this screenplay?

Maybe six months at this point.

How many stories have you written?

One.

What is your favorite song? (Or, what song have you listened to the most times in your life?)

Possibly, Sweetness Dream Of Me by Anton Barbeau.

What obstacles did you face to finish this screenplay?

Who said I’ve finished? Biggest obstacle though? Probably insomnia, or a lack of Stroopwafels.

Apart from writing, what else are you passionate about?

Passion is a mighty strong word, I’m passionate about watching movies also. I live for the next scene to play on repeat for days without end.

You entered your screenplay via FilmFreeway. What has been your experiences working with the submission platform site?

Quick & painless.

What influenced you to enter the festival? What were your feelings on the initial feedback you received?

The influence to enter your festival was your location. My feelings on the initial feedback were, that I felt a sense of relief. It finally seemed possible that I may have had an idea worth investigating.
