HIT, 4min., New Zealand, Sports/DramaThe theme of the July 2018 DRAMA & FEMALE FEEDBACK Film Festival in Los Angeles was “Powerful Women”. Every single film had strong female characters in every single short that played.
The 2nd half of 2018 at the Los Angeles Festival began with a bang! We had our largest crowd and by far our most talkative crowd.
The LA LIVE Regal Cinemas in downtown Los Angeles isn’t the greatest destination spot, despite having three major professional sports teams playing next door at the Staples Center. Parking is always way too much and the traffic exit ramps can be a nightmare. Despite that, we are getting a great crowd 8 months into our monthly festival events.
We do have to figure our where 2019 lands us and if we’ll resign with LA LIVE. Perhaps having the festival at a more indy cinema would suit us better. There is much to decide. I simply want to make sure people don’t have to pay TOO much for parking and can get there on time without worrying about the traffic.
