Hunter, a young autistic man who has just relocated to New York City, finds himself in the middle of a hot and sweaty New York summer struggling to adjust. He retreats inward and spends his days listening to music alone and exploring his richly imaginative inner world which contains his only friend, Imaginary.

Cracks in the Foundation is a short drama that explores generational trauma through the lens of a Black woman as she strives to prevent toxic cycles from happening within in her family.

THE WATER’S LAMENT, 18min., Israel, Drama

Directed by Itai Jamshy
Miri picks up her distant son from the army base and surprises him with a makeshift camping trip on a faraway shore in the middle of winter. On the shore, after old tarumas resurface, they warm up to each other while the question “Where’s father?” echoes in the distance.
