When two lonesome losers, Susan and Charlie, hook up in a Beverly Hills Convenient Store, they take a ride in a black Lincoln Continental down Sunset Boulevard, along with Orson Wells ashes in the trunk of the car they unite in their dysfunctional mission to reclaim what little dignity they had, striving to make a difference in a world of illusion Susan steals Orsons ashes, climbing The Hollywood Sign in an attempt to set herself and Orson free.
