Director Statement
As a mental health professional, I have worked directly with the vulnerable youth within our communities who have fallen victim to human trafficking and sexual abuse. I have payed witness to the crisis management necessary when their PTSD is triggered, flashing back memories of their trauma, accompanied with strong emotional and physical reactions, many times ignoring those who want to help them. This is by no means a true story, but a symbolic representation of a survivor’s internal struggle.
