
Collin Chute is the creator of “Late Night Swim.”
He grew up in Alexandria, Va. and attended VCU, where he studied acting and earned a BFA in performing arts. He lives in Los Angeles with his fiancé Candice, and their two dogs, Little Bear and Wednesday. Beyond acting and film making, Collin produces and hosts a football podcast called “Washington Hangover,” with his buddy Nick Webster who also worked with him on their web series.
Collin is currently working on a book of poetry and his next film script, “The Pale”
Director Statement
My concept for “Late Night Swim” is both personal and imaginative. I believe it is something we can all relate to. It’s about our inability to accept the love around us … the struggle to be present as we imagine better lives through our phones …and having the courage to live fully in our choices.
