I TELL THE STORY OF MUSIC
Soundtracks are not just an accompaniment to the visual. The score should be composed even before the script. People always tell me “music should not dictate the image”. My films fight against this stereotypical conception. Each composition carries its own sincere story that waits to be told. I always write what music tells me to write and I fight until the audience recognises it.
LIGHT AND CONCISE
No matter how heavy is its content, a story should always feel LIGHT. I’m still exploring new ways to achieve that. What I found out working so far is the technique of “balancing the contrasts”. Opposite actors performance, feelings, camera movements, colors, etc lead to a visual/emotional balance that strikes through a wider audience. You can see the results within this music video.
